Father’s Day Special Event Ideas

On July 19, 1910, the governor of the U.S. state of Washington proclaimed the nation’s first “Father’s Day.” However, it was not until 1972, 58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official, that the day became a nationwide holiday in the United States.  For more history facts regarding Father’s Day check out this link

Go Fishing and on a picnic

Dad’s and Donuts Social – invite family members to this fun social and serve Dad’s Root beer and Donuts

Chuck-wagon Breakfast 

Remember Dad – invite family members to an evening event for Dad.  Have family members talk about their dad.  What their accomplishments where?  What was the funniest time the had with their dad ect.  Have a slideshow with all the dads showing during this event. Serve appetizers.

Go to a car show

Go to a baseball field

Go to a football field
